The project
Community-level dialogues between rural bankers and OFW Family Circle members and some vacationing OFWs are being done. These dialogues serve as orientations being given by Ercof and its pool of experts to rural banks about overseas migration and development facts and realities in the areas where the rural banks are located.

The orientations also become occasions for the rural banks to know and understand the socio-economic needs of overseas Filipinos and their families, and then begin the first banking engagement with these provincemates. OFWs attending these orientations have bared that they appreciate financial counselling, as well as enterprise and investment advice, coming from rural banks.
